Read 2 Corinthians 8:21 TLB
Tracy was a single mother. She was poor, but she worked hard to clothe and feed her family.
One day she was given some used clothes. Going through the pockets, she found $1,000.00.
As desperately as she needed money, she returned it to the donor.
“Why didn’t you keep the money?” asked a friend.
“It wasn’t mine to keep,” she answered.
Some friends, who heard what happened, gave her gifts that equaled that amount.
God honors the person who put godliness above gain and morality above money.
Blessed is the one who’s living in the truth of God and walking in the path of righteousness.
Prayer: Father, deliver us from all that is dishonest and disgraceful. Make us to be fair and faithful. Show us how to conquer and crucify every insurgent impulse and inordinate inclination: in Christ. Amen.
