A pastor was conducting a wedding and he asked the groom, “Wilt thou have this woman to be thy wedded wife?”
“Yes, sir,” he answered. “That’s what I came here for.”
It’s good to be enthusiastic whether for worshiping, working, or weddings. You can do anything with it, nothing
without it.
Enthusiasm begets boldness, kindles confidence, destroys doubt, and makes an average person superior.
Christianity must be a passion, not a pastime; a calling not a career. St. Paul said, “Make the most of your chances to tell others the good news.”
Prayer: Father, we pray that in character and conduct we may constrain others to come to Thee. May all our
aspirations and actions be directed to rebound to Thy glory and honor and good of others. Make us trustful and triumphant: through Christ. Amen.
