eSeed: Learn To Drive

LEARN TO DRIVE
Read Luke 15:11-32

A woman angrily jumped out of her car after colliding with another, shouting, “Why don’t people learn to drive? You’re the fourth car I’ve hit today!”

We’re always ready to blame others, aren’t we?

The alcoholic says, “It’s my environment, not any evil in me.”

The criminal says, “It’s my neighborhood, not my nature.”

The person who smokes pot and indulges in sex sins says, “Everybody else is doing it. Why expect me to be different?”

But he who excuses himself accuses himself.

Happy is the one who’ll say with the prodigal, “Father, I have sinned.” He’s the one who’ll be forgiven and feasted.

Prayer: Father, we come confessing our sins to Thee, and praying that Thou wilt consecrate us. Let it be the joy of our hearts to be under the conduct of Thy word, lead by the counsel of Thy Son: in His name. Amen.
