eSeed: I'm Through For The Night

I’M THROUGH FOR THE NIGHT
Read Joshua 1:9 TLB
There was a boxer who was called, “the Caterpillar,” – he stayed in the ring only by crawling.

One night a sharp blow floored him. The referee began his count. But he didn’t stop at ten. He knew the fighter was bluffing. When he came to twenty, the boxer said, “You’re more than fair, Mr. Referee, but I’m through for the night.”

Being floored isn’t fatal. Failure to get up is.

Don’t give in to discouragement and don’t give up in despair.

The Bible says, “Be bold and strong. Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Prayer: Deliver us, Father, from discouragement. Illumine our minds, quicken our hearts, and lift our spirits that we might think only on that which is true, good, right and lovely: through Christ. Amen.
