MY WIFE DID IT
Read Genesis 3:12
A sign on a wrecked car amused me. Above the bent fender were the words: “My wife did it.”
And that’s what Adam said.
In order to excuse himself, he had only the woman, the serpent, and the Lord. So he said, “The woman.”
Today we blame family, society and poverty.
But God puts the blame where it belongs – on the sinner.
With Him there’s only one way to find forgiveness. Confess, “I did it. I’m to blame. Forgive me.”
He’ll cleanse you, convert you and make you more than a conqueror. And you’ll be able to say, “I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.
Prayer: Accept our thanks, heavenly Father, for revealing to us our sins and for removing them. In cleansing us, keep us clean. Make us pure within and without: in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
