PART-WORKER
Read Romans 6:12-14 TLB

A Canadian newspaper carried this statement: “Darryl Raymaker is a longtime part worker.”

It should have read: “Darryl Raymaker is a longtime party worker.”

But there are many “part-time” workers in our churches.

They go to church, if they don’t have some other place to go. They give to the church, if they have some money left over. They work in the church, if they don’t have something else to do.

When the Lord needs them, they’re conspicuous by their absence.

But the Bible says, “Give yourselves completely to God – every part of you. Be tools in the hands of God, to be used for His good purposes.”

Prayer: Heavenly Father, wholeheartedly and happily we commit our lives to Thee. Make us what Thou wilt, send us where Thou wilt, do with us what Thou wilt, at any cost: through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
