Read 1 John 1:10
Jimmy never failed to display his pest manners. But he had a teacher who put Christian love into action, and there was a change.
Parent’s Night came, and his workbook was displayed. The first half had silly pictures and curse words.
His parents found his workbook. They opened it and smiled approvingly. Amazed, he hurried to it and discovered the first half had been removed. Only the improved pages remained.
“Why?” he asked.
“Jesus took the spoiled pages out of my life,” said his teacher, “and He’ll do the same for your life, if you let Him.”
The boy did. Won’t you?
Prayer: Purify our affections, Lord, refine our ambitions, and make our hearts a fit dwelling place for Thy Spirit. We now submit ourselves to Thy control. Help us to follow Thee faithfully: in Thy name. Amen.
