eSeed: I Love You, Not The Car

I LOVE YOU, NOT THE CAR
Read Colossians 3:18-19

A woman’s car was sideswiped on a trip to the store. Tearfully opening the glove compartment, she looked for the insurance papers on the car for the police officer.

Fumbling through them she saw a note her husband had written. It read: “Dear Mary, when you need these papers, remember it’s you I love, not the car.”

Isn’t that precious!

Cars don’t make a home, caring does. Gifts don’t keep a family together, God does. Lust isn’t the foundation for a happy home, love is.

Invite the Lord into your house, and He’ll bring in His life, love and laughter; and you’ll have a safe home.

Prayer: Father, make our homes heavenly and happy. Help us to live love, to lighten the load of our loved ones, to be gracious and godly, and always do those things that please Thee: through Christ. Amen.
