eDeed: Unexpected Acquittal

UNEXPECTED ACQUITTAL
Read Romans 14:12

A man was arrested and charged with bigamy. There was a court case, and the judge said, “You’ve been acquitted of the charge of bigamy.”

“What does that mean?” asked the man.

“You’re free to go home to your wife,” said the judge.

“Which one?” questioned the man.

You can fool an earthly judge, but not the judge of all the earth.

Your life is lived in His eye and ear. You can no more escape from the Savior that you can from your shadow. There’s no place where you can leave Him behind.

The spiritual says, “He sees all you do, He hears all you say, my God’s a writin’ all the time.”

And the Bible says, “So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.”

Prayer: Constrain us, Father, to confess our sins honestly and to turn from our sins wholeheartedly: through Christ. Amen.
