Cathy and her boyfriend had an argument. She left him without giving him a chance to say anything.
Arriving at home, she found an electric sign flashing his message: “I Iove you anyway.”
When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, He didn’t turn from them in silent anger. He sought them and showed them His love, just as He does for you.
God’s love never changes. He loves you as much when you’re bad as He does when you’re good. He says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”
Calvary is God’s flashing reminder declaring, “I love you anyway.”
Prayer: How great is Thy love, Father! In this sacred moment may we hear Thy voice which calls us to the life of love, to the power of peace, and to the fortitude of faith. Here may our souls find refreshment and renewal: through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
