eSeed: The World On Fire

THE WORLD ON FIRE
Read 2 Peter 3:10-13 NIV
A man said to Mark Twain, “I’m worried. The world’s coming to an end.”

“Don’t be worried,” replied the humorist. “We can get along without it.”

There was a time when the trends and direction of men’s lives were only toward evil, and the Lord destroyed the world with a flood.

Once more it seems that the trend of men’s lives is toward evil and the world’s about to be ripe for the destruction by fire.

St. Peter said, “But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.”

Since there’ll be a new home of righteousness, let’s make preparation for it.

Noah came into the ark before the flood. Why don’t you come to the Lord before the fire?

Prayer: We need Thee, Lord Jesus, and we need Thee right now. We can’t do without Thee. Come into our hearts right now: in Christ. Amen.
