eSeed: Horns Of A Dilemma

HORNS OF A DILEMMA
Read James 4:7

A city-dweller said to a farmer, “What a beautiful cow. Why doesn’t it have horns?”

“Some cows don’t have horns until late in life,” he answered, “and on others the horns are removed. But this cow doesn’t have horns because it’s a horse.”

And neither does the devil have horns.

God didn’t create the devil. He created Lucifer, an angel, who turned himself into the devil by his sin.

He was never good or loving, and from the moment of his fall he has labored to destroy the works of God.

The devil’s powerful, but not all-powerful. And the Bible says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Prayer: Save us, Father, from Satan and sin. Deliver us from pride and pretension. Grant unto us a humble and contrite spirit that we might know and do Thy will: through Christ. Amen.
