I KEPT TAKING HER PICTURE

A little Chinese girl, tired and hungry, had fallen asleep outside a food store with her face pressed against the glass window.

A tourist took her picture, and showed it many times in the United States. But one night a man asked, “What did you do about the little girl?”

“Nothing,” he answered. “I kept taking her picture.”

There are many people without food, shelter and clothing. What are you doing?

The Bible says, “If someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help him – how can God’s love be within him?”

Prayer: Father, give us a deep love for Thy Son; a love that will grudge no gift, refuse no obedience and resent no trial. Help us to show our love for Thee by loving others. Inspire us to live our lives in love, in faithfulness and in service: through Christ, our Lord.
