SEND SUPERMAN
Read Philippians 4:19

A father and his son were in trouble, and he said, “Son, please pray.”

“O God,” begged the boy, “please help us. And if You can’t, please send Superman.”

It’s just like us to look for something in sight that will help the Lord meet our needs.

But the Lord doesn’t need anyone or anything.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” What did He have on hand to begin with? Nothing.

After He made the earth, what did He hang it on? The Bible says, “He hangeth the earth on nothing.” And it hangs all right, doesn’t it!

If God can make the earth out of nothing, don’t you think He can meet your needs?

Then trust Him, and He’ll see you through triumphantly.

Prayer: Teach us, Father, to always trust Thee. Give us a vivid and victorious sense of Thyself as our Companion and Counselor: in Christ. Amen.
