Read Numbers 32:23

A young fellow stole a watch from a department store, and ran with it to the escalators to escape from the store.

But instead of getting on the one going down, he got on the one going up. He turned to run down, but he was hindered by the passengers going up, for the steps were ascending.

He was brought back to the top of the stairs, where the detective was waiting for him. He was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

If there’s no cop around, your own conscience will get you. If you’re not apprehended by the law, you will be by the Lord.

The Bible says, “Be sure your sins will find you out.”

Prayer: Father, take away all our sins. We turn to Thee with all our hearts. Give us the wisdom to know what to say and do. Give us the courage to do the right thing about everything: through Christ. Amen.
