He was Mr. Success, and every man wanted his secret.
One day a friend found it. Walking behind his desk he saw the letters: “D.F.T.P.”
“What do they mean?” he asked.
“Don’t forget to pray,” he said.
There are great power plants in our cities. But not every person has an equal amount of power. While the power is there, some don’t avail themselves of it.
The greatest power in the world is prayer, for it has the almightiness of God linked to it. And the Living Bible says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results.”
It’s like the sign said: Don’t forget to pray.
Prayer: Teach us, Father, to pray continuously and confidently. And when the answer comes, constrain us to thank Thee. Inspire us with faith and fortitude to trust and obey: in Christ. Amen.
