eSeed: Mediocre Mouse

MEDIOCRE MOUSE
Read 2 Corinthians 12:9

The lion in the zoo was mean and mad. Seeing a mouse in his cage, he roared, “You’re the weakest thing I’ve ever seen. I can whip you with one swipe of my paw.”

“Maybe so,” squeaked the mouse. “But I’ve been sick lately.”

Many of us use sickness and suffering as an excuse for defeat and delinquency. But trouble doesn’t always have to stop you.

Look what Beethoven did about deafness: he wrote music, he became one of the world’s greatest composers.

Look what Fanny Crosby did about blindness: she wrote more than 8,000 hymn-poems.

Trust God, and He’ll give you grace for your grief saying, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Prayer: We thank Thee, Father, for Thy grace and Thy goodness. We thank Thee for all Thy mercies: through Christ. Amen.
