A bunch of little fellows went out to play ball. When they arrived at the park, they discovered that they had forgotten the ball.
“Never mind the ball,” cried a boy. “Let’s get on with the practice.”
That’s what some people are trying to do today – practice Christianity without Christ. But Christianity is Christ!
He stands out among the religious leaders of the world as One different from the rest: strong among the weak, erect among the fallen, believing among the faithless, clean among the defiled, living among the dead; the one and only Savior.
The Living Bible says, “There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them.”
Prayer: Father, we thank Thee for Thy salvation which is so full and free. Inspire us to make our salvation vocal and visible, so that others will receive Thee as Savior and Lord: in Christ. Amen.
