eSeed: Treasure Within A Treasure

TREASURE WITHIN A TREASURE
Read Psalm 119:71-72 TLB

Centuries ago a Saxon prince gave a silver egg to his lover. She touched a spring, the egg opened and revealed a golden yolk.

She touched the yolk, and a chicken appeared.

She touched the chicken. It opened its mouth and presented her with a diamond ring.

How like the word of the Lord. The Psalmist said, "Your laws are more valuable to me than millions in silver and gold."
So keep the Bible as a treasure. Keep it in your heart, as a panacea for sorrow; in your soul, as a preservative from sin; in your mind, as a plan for success; and in your affection, as power for security.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for Thy wonderful word. Constrain us to be constant in reading it, eager to study it, retentive to remember it, and resolute to obey it at all times and at any cost: through Christ. Amen.
