eSeed: Fore!

FORE!
Read Philippians 3:13-14 TLB
Charlie loved golf. He could hit the ball, but he couldn’t see where it went.

When he’d yell, “Fore!” you didn’t know if he was telling people to get out of the way or predicting how many he’d hit.

One day he teamed up with a man who had eyes like a hawk. Charlie hit a long drive. He asked, “Did you see where it went?” “Yes,” said Tom, “but I forgot.”

It’s good to forget past achievements and forge ahead on future accomplishments.

St. Paul said, “Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God is calling us.”

Prayer: We thank Thee, Lord Jesus, for loving us and laying down Thy life to save us. We present ourselves to Thee. Possess our hearts that they may be warm with love for Thee and Thy word: in Thy name. Amen.
