eSeed: Stop Your Anger

Read Psalm 37:8 TLB

An old salesman asked a young man, “How was your first trip?”

“Terrible,” he answered. “Every place I go I get mad.”

“I’ve been on the road a long time,” said the old timer. “I’ve been knocked down and thrown out – but angry, never!”

When you begin to feel angry, smile. If that doesn’t snap you out of it, stop what you’re doing.

The worst time to be angry is when the other person is angry. The way to take the wind out of his sails is to stay calm.

When you find yourself angry, stop and find out why. Then pray, and do something good. Never stay angry. If you do, you’ll dig your own grave.

The Psalmist said, “Stop your anger.”

Prayer: Gird us with power, Father, to gain the victory over anger. Fill our hearts with Thy love and make us kind, compassionate Christians: through our Lord and Savior. Amen.

  1. My husband and I have taught many lessons on this topic (Anger). The way the Sower uses the sower (Dr. Michael Guido)is awesome. I have always, since childhood, been engolfed with the wisdom and intimacy that the Father God shared with him.

I grew up on these seeds of wisdom and he has touched my life all these years, I am now 54 yrs of age. I now share his godly seeds of wisdom with the part of the body of Christ that the Father has allowed us to undershepherd.

His voice rings through the courts of my mind, heart and spirit. I honor him and respect him for living a life in full representation of Christ, our Lord. His witnessing of the Gospel of Christ is of an inspirational, effective, fervent, intimate and creative soul. He and his seeds live on in many hearts, especially mine.

I thank God for such a creation as Dr. Michael Guido, "The Sower".
