Be Courteous

Read Philippians 2:3 TLB
A man gave his seat on the bus to a lady. She fainted.

On recovering she thanked him. He was so surprised, he fainted!

Courtesy is a lost art. Too many are suffering from a hardening of the hearteries.

But to be courteous to all; to help others; to hurt no one in thought, word, or deed; this is the constant duty of the godly.

You and I shall pass through this world only one time. Any courtesy we can show, any good deed we can do, let’s do it. We won’t pass this way again.

The Bible says, “Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself.”

Prayer: Make us more willing, Father, to serve than to be served; to give than to get; to love than to be loved. Make us more willing to give our strength to the weak, our sympathy to the sorrowing, and our substance to the poor: through Christ. Amen.
