Prayer Telegram

Read Matthew 14:30

One morning I saw a man running frantically down the sidewalk.

“Why are you running?” I asked.

“Got a need,” he said. “I’m running to church to pray.”

“It’s great to pray in church,” I replied, “but it’s good to pray right here.”

Peter was drowning. He couldn’t get to a church, and he didn’t have time for a long prayer. So he sent a telegram: “Lord, save me.” And the Lord did.

Whatever your condition or circumstances, your pain or problem, your trouble or temptation, try instant communication with Christ. And you’ll find grace to help in the nick of time.

Why don’t you use the prayer telegram?

Prayer: Help me, heavenly Father, to pray expectantly; to believe confidently; and to live victoriously.Constrain me to pray about everything and to follow Thy leading in all things: in Christ’s name. Amen.
