A PSALM TO PRAY EACH DAY IN JUNE

PSALM 16

Lord, keep me safe!

Because I trust in You.

My soul proclaims: You are my Lord!

Apart from You I have nothing to hope for.

Those who worship earthly gods will never find peace,

I will not worship nor confess my sins to idols.

Lord, You are my future inheritance;

You are my satisfaction and will protect me.

You have given me a good life,

I bless You Lord for guiding me each day.

You gave me advice when I faced life’s problems,

I want You to be my guide forever!

I will not ever be shaken when death comes;

Because You have been at my right hand.

Now, when I face death, I am satisfied and unafraid;

When I die I will trust in Your resurrection!

You will not leave me in death.

You did not leave the Messiah in the grave.

You will raise us up to live again.

We will have fullness of joy in Your presence;

We will have pleasures in You forever!
