eSeed: The Bored

THE BORED
Read Romans 8:37-39

When the minister ended his long, dry sermon, he asked for the board to remain for a few minutes.

Among those who stayed was a stranger, and the preacher said, “I asked that only the board remain.”

“That includes me,” said the visitor. “I never was more bored in my life.”

No, I don’t want to bore you, but I would like to bless your heart with the good news that our Lord can deal with the difficulties that discourage you, the temptations that trouble you, and the problems that plague you.

He’s able to inspire your mind with His wisdom, endow your body with His strength, and empower your will with His might so that you’ll be victorious.

Why don’t you trust Him?

Prayer: We look to Thee, Father, to guide us, govern us, and guard us. Grant that we may not forget Thy presence and Thy power. Help us to trust Thee with our lives: through Christ. Amen.
