WIGGLE-TAILS IN YOUR CUP

An old-fashioned church enjoyed a time of testimony every Sunday night. Many were stimulating, but one was stale.
A trustee you couldn’t trust gave the same testimony week after week. He’d say, “Twenty-five years ago the Lord filled my cup and it has been full ever since.”
One night a little girl leaned over to her mother and said softly, “Mom, I bet that man’s cup is full of wiggle-tails.”
How true!
With the inflow there must be the outflow to keep the supply fresh. The Lord isn’t pleased with stagnant saints.
He says, “The Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of anyone who believes in Me.”
Prayer: Save us, Father, from playing at prayer, or trifling with testifying. Constrain us to walk in honesty, faith and fidelity: through Christ. Amen.
