WHAT PROBLEM?

A man had a problem with forgetfulness. It drove his wife to distraction. She finally insisted he see a psychiatrist.
“Doc,” he said, “I have a terrible problem with forgetfulness.”
“How long have you had this problem?”
The patient asked, “What problem?”
It seems so easy to forget a favor or a friend, a promise or a pledge. That’s not true with our Lord.
He never forgets a person, nor forfeits a promise, and never fails on a pledge. He’s faithful in all things, at all times, and with all people.
He declares, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
Prayer: We thank Thee, Father, that Thou dost never forget Thy children. How good it is to know that Thou art always thinking about us and providing for us: in Christ Amen.
