One day Booth gazed upon a crowd in London and cried, “What a city to redeem!” He organized an army of salvationists.
Blucher gazed upon a crowd in London and said, “What a city to rob!” He organized an army of stick up artists.
As you look out upon your city, what do you say?
When our Lord looked out upon the crowd He was moved with compassion.
When you see backslidden believers and Christless creatures, are you moved with compassion?
Our Lord said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Let’s follow Him!
Prayer: Deliver us, heavenly Father, from being cowardly and make us courageous Christians. Help us to fear nothing but sin, to follow no one but the Savior, and to flee from everything that would give us evil thoughts. Hear us in Christ’s name. Amen.
