LIVE LOVE
Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

A neglected wife cried to her husband, “William, you show no affection to me. Have you stopped loving me?”

“Listen,” he said angrily, “I adore you, I worship you, I love you. Now shut your mouth and leave me alone.”

How do we show our love? By words that soothe? Yes, but more by ways that serve.

It’s good to say, “I love you.” So say it. But also show it.

Love is a sacrifice. But it’s also a satisfaction. Joy comes to the one who loves as well as to the one who’s loved. You can’t help another without helping yourself.

So live love, won’t you!

Prayer: Take our hearts, Father, and purge them, make us wholly Thine. Then pour Thy love into us and through us for our loved ones, the lost, the lonely and the least: through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
