The Champ

Read Hebrews 13:21 NIV

A little man said to a 250-pounder, “If I was as big as you are, I’d be the heavyweight champion of the world.”

“Tell me,” he replied, “what’s keeping you from being the lightweight champ?”

You are you. The Lord doesn’t want you to be a carbon copy of any one. He wants you to be you.
You are unique. You’re distinct from all other persons. That difference is no mistake. It’s an expression of the Lord’s touch.

The Lord wants to do through you what He hasn’t done through any other person.

So let go and let Him “equip you with everything you need for doing His will.” Then your life will be beautifully and wonderfully complete.

Prayer: Father, dictate my thoughts, direct my words, and discipline my manners. Make my life complete. All through today give me pure thoughts, kind words and noble deeds: in Christ’s name. Amen.
