Got a handicap? It can become a means of strength or a source of weakness.
Helen Keller was blind.
Thomas Edison was deaf.
Paul had a thorn in the flesh. It twisted like a torturing stake in his body.
He begged the Lord to make him well, but the Lord said to him, “No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.”
As Paul turned his life over to the Lord he was able to say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Got a handicap? Turn your life over to the Lord, and you’ll find hope, help and happiness.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I give myself to Thee completely and cheerfully. Melt me and mold me. Make me a useable and fruitful instrument in Thy hand to be used for Thy purposes and Thy pleasure: through Christ. Amen.
