eSeed: I've Come To Surrender

I’VE COME TO SURRENDER
Read Romans 12:1-2

A man in Washington asked, “Is this the headquarters for the war against poverty?”

“Yes, sir,” answered a secretary.

“Good,” he said, “I’ve come to surrender.”

That’s what the Lord wants you to do – come to Him to surrender. For He said, “He who isn’t with Me, is against Me.”

When you go against Him, you set yourself on a road that leads to dissatisfaction and despair.

You become less and less the man the Lord intended you to be, more and more a slave to sin. But you were made to be free, and when you surrender to the Lord you become a master of yourself and your sins.

Wouldn’t you rather surrender to the Lord?

Prayer: Father, take possession of our hearts, giving us victory over our temptations and trials. Weave into the texture of our hearts and minds the virtues of faith and fidelity that we may live honorably and happily for Thee: in Christ. Amen.
