Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 TLB
Luther Burbank, the horticulturist, was asked, “What is your greatest contribution?”
He answered, “It is the proof that a plant, born a weed, or a plant degenerated by the conditions of nature, doesn’t have to remain a degenerate.”
What’s true of a plant is true of a person.
You don’t have to remain the way you are. Sinners can become saints. Victims can become victors. Your character can be changed.
The Lord can take a common person, and make you uncommonly beautiful.
The Living Bible says, “When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!”
Prayer: Do for us, Lord Jesus, that which we can’t do for ourselves. Make us cheerful Christians who overcome sin. We accept Thee as our Savior and acknowledge Thee as our Lord: in Thy name. Amen
