NO DIFFERENCE
Read Jeremiah 31:3 NKJ

Many years ago, after paying his debt, a poor fellow had just enough money left for one gift. Deciding on a mirror, for they had none, he hurried home and gave it to his family.

His wife smiled as she looked into it. His little girl giggled. But his boy cried. His face had been kicked by a mule, and it was badly scarred.

“Mom,” he asked, “did you know I looked like this?”

“Yes.”

“And you still love me?”

“I do,” she answered. “The face makes no difference.”

In like manner, the Lord loves you, even though He knows your faults and failures.

Hear Him as he says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Aren’t you gratefully glad?

Prayer: Father, we thank Thee for Thy limitless love. Impart unto us those qualities of faith and fortitude which will liberate us from sin’s penalty and power: through Christ. Amen.
