MISSING PERSON
Read Ephesians 2:12

A wife hurried to the Bureau of Missing Persons to report the disappearance of her husband.

“Describe him,” said the clerk.

“He’s short and thin,” said the wife. “He has no hair and no teeth. As a matter of fact, most of him was missing before he was.”

Do you know what’s missing in most homes and hearts? The Lord.

Without Him, you have no Companion to counsel, no Deliverer to liberate, no Guide to direct, no Nourishment to sustain, no Refuge to shelter, no Strength to empower, and no Way to God.

But He’s just outside the door of your heart. Open it, and let Him come in, won’t you?

Prayer: Father, Thou art standing at the door of our hearts waiting to be welcomed and trusted. Make us sensitive and responsive to the prompting of Thy Spirit that we may yield ourselves to Thee: in Thy name. Amen.
